Head of Prevention and Protection Service (RSPP) and Protection and Prevention Service Officer (ASPP)
Module A
This is the introductory course for ASPPs and RSPPs.
Duration: 28 hours.
Module B
It is the specialisation course for ASPPs and RSPPs.
The course duration varies according to the ATECO 8 reference sector – 48 hours.
Module C
It is the specialisation course for RSPPs.
Duration: 24 hours.

ASPPs 20 hours every 5 years
RSPPs 40 hours every 5 years

Employees
General training
General training for employees includes a basic safety course and corresponds to a permanent training credit.
Duration: 4 hours.
Specific training
The specific training course for employees has a varying duration depending on the risk class:
- 4 hours low risk – delivered via online course
- 8 hours medium risk – delegated to managers and directors
- 12 hours high risk – delegated to managers and directors
SPECIFIC TRAINING REFRESHER
6 hours every 5 years for all risk levels

Safety Officers and Persons in Charge of Teaching and Laboratory Research Activities
The training course for safety officers is organised periodically (in person and by videoconference) by the Prevention and Protection Service according to requests and does not replace the general and specific training for employees.
Duration: 8 hours.
