The Historical Library was established in 2018 with the intention of collecting, preserving, and enhancing the oldest and most valuable part of the Politecnico's library holdings, namely books published from around 1500 to 1899. These are volumes that constitute the foundations of Milanese and Lombard polytechnic culture, with a rich section of illustrated manuals for civil and industrial construction.
