The National College of Art and Design is an important institution in Ireland offering the largest range of art and design degrees in the state at undergraduate and postgraduate level. It is the place where many of the most important Irish artists, designers and art teachers have studied or taught. Education of The National College of Art and Design is known for having high standards, but students choose the university for its qualitative course and projects. The College has four Schools; Design, Education, Fine Art and Visual Culture. Students' progress is monitored at the end of projects, and by examination at the end of each year.
