How to access the Laurea programmes in Design

Equivalent to Bachelor of Science

Academic year 2025/2026

In order to enter the School of Design’s Laurea (equivalent to Bachelor of Science, hereinafter referred to as 'L') programmes, it is mandatory to sit an entrance test called TOLD - Test On Line for Design.

  • In order to enter the Laurea (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) programmes delivered in Italian, it is mandatory to sit the TOLD test in Italian.
  • In order to enter the Laurea (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) programmes in Interaction Design delivered in English, it is mandatory to sit the TOLD test in English (Lecco).

The places available on each study programme will be allocated according to the test results and the preferences stated by the applicants (the number of places available is fixed each year).

Some rules differ according to the type of student they are aimed at: Italian and equivalent students or international students (reserved category); there are specific rules for students with foreign qualifications (click here to find out more ).

In this regard, we would like to remind you that international students (reserved category) are reminded that they must register for the entrance test by 31 May 2025. Further information is available here.
