During this presentation Yes Milano will introduce their services and activities available for those students staying in Milano.
They will explain you what you need to do as far as the National Healthcare Service is concerned, and how to register as a temporary resident in Italy.

If you are a non-EU citizen, within 8 working days of your arrival in Italy, you have to complete a so-called “kit” to apply for a residence permit.
The International Students Office of Politecnico will explain step-by-step how to fill out your residence permit request.
The kit is available at all the post offices bearing a “Sportello Amico” sign, but will also be given to you at the end of the presentation and it will be available during the whole welcome week at the infodesk.

The International Mobility Unit will carry out a meeting specifically for students who hold a NON-UE citizenship coming from an UE University. In order to register your arrival in Italy, you have to submit the declaration of presence form (Dichiarazione di presenza) within 8 days after your arrival. The office, you will provide more information during the meeting.

Embark on a thrilling treasure hunt adventure on campus to discover several useful locations during your stay. You will play divided into teams of 4-5 people so that you can meet other fellow international students: whoever solves all the enigmas first will win a prize. We have organized 2 treasure hunts: one that starts at 2:00 pm and the other at 3:30 pm. We invite you to show up at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start of the activity (based on the treasure hunt you have registered to) for the check-in
The meeting point is in front of Building B13, you will find a desk of the Welcome Week.

To finish the Welcome Week on a high note, take part in the final event dedicated to the new International Students from all the Schools who just arrived at Politecnico di Milano.
In the green area in front of Building B1 you will find food, music, playgrounds and much more. If you took part in the Buddy Project, you will have the chance to meet your Buddy and participate in a matching outfit contest together and meet other students in an international environment.
