Descrizione dell'iniziativa

The workshop aims to enhance the transdisciplinary approach within the context of interior design. Specifically, the scenography and multisensory exhibit in the field of the hospitality. As future designers, you will be called to work alongside colleagues from various disciplinary fields, such as product and event management. In this intensive session, you will participate in developing a project concept for the luxury hotel The Castle of Perfume by Mina Gautier. The goal will be twofold: to attract potential guests and visitors, inviting them to discover natural perfumes and exceptional fragrances in a unique context, and to design the concept phase for some suites inspired by historical figures, such as Marie Antoinette, offering an immersive sensory design experience tied to Mina Gautier's high-end fragrances. Additional suites may be developed inspired by other historical figures, artistic movements, or concepts such as Napoleon, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, the Orient, or High-Tech.The main idea is to create an experience specific to the era that inspires the suite, integrating interior design and art elements. The strength and complexity of the project lie in offering suite guests an olfactory and artistic immersion into centuries or atmospheres. In developing ideas for these future interior equipment systems, you will be guided and supervised by professionals representing all disciplines and practices involved in such projects. Additionally, you will collaborate internationally with students from diverse academic backgrounds. The groups will consist of ICN Business School and Design students from Politecnico di Milano, working together to develop ideas, concepts, and proposals based on the abovementioned brief.
